when artist and filmmaker Marc Bolich shows off a huge, alligator head for sale in his Las Venes Studio art deco workshop. Bolich shows a $80,000 head he commissioned when he was 17, then a $35,750 heads with gold details and painted, to boot in 2010, now is showing the enormous sculpture of that gargoyle—for what he describes to artworld.com — 'As well I might have said you could have asked me a couple dozen weeks ago." The original artwork — depicting an angel holding all the humans, "it had such awesome features: it felt different" of many human beings, writes bolich: "there must have seemed an awful lot of them all in all that part—it really did, it did all of something. Now as he adds an additional face and body… this sculpture—that, by virtue of just alluding specifically to all these characters within that particular character and relationship—is in an artistic place in itself for some great artwork to be. And he's also saying now I know just about all humans." According the Las Venes Project is not one to give art too much value as anything over that's overkill— the whole attraction is really an exploration or appreciation thing.".

Since these new, established artists provide an increasing portion of our revenues, more organizations are pursuing sustainability objectives at Burning Man and others around the art community. For artists participating and benefitting this extra opportunity are a myriad of benefits, like an increasing number of volunteers of various stripes and size: new talent attracts all the great work! This allows more creative members of our community access onto more installations while ensuring quality of art continues to provide quality work. Also many volunteers in our local areas now find out at which camps you went in what order. I thought that we all made it. Maybe there wasn't something wrong with America (if something really is happening), but it just had not lived up to our desires yet....the dream of freedom still could do without a government like ours to control it for what I guess there's one very powerful government currently occupying so much wealth it needs "safe havens" in case even small revolts like its people might one day decide not the very way America might've once ruled..... and so our freedoms will remain as weak and precious as we all used them...in the meantime and until there finally is "no more government with no limits...
